The renowned 2nd Annual CAGWA California Super Tournament 2 will be held on February 19-21st 2010, at the Azusa Pacific University! Talented Youth Wrestlers from the many great Western States of California, Utah, Nevada, Oregon, Arizona, Washington, New Mexico and Colorado will be traveling to the Holy Land of Wrestling, the tournament of all tournaments the Mecca. “CAGWA Super Tournament TWO…” Age Group Wrestlers from as far off as Maryland and Massachusetts will be seen packing their bags and making the trek pledging their commitment to go to Battle on the Mat. CAGWA Tournaments are rites of Passage where ambitious adolescent Wrestlers from the age of K to 8th grades can individually respond to the challenge of a tournament which truly turns Boys 2 Men. Youthful wrestlers will have the opportunity to compete for sole Prized Super Tournament Championship Belt which is only offered and branded at a Top notch Tournament like CAGWA.
Today in an economy where many wrestling programs have faltered, falling to the wayside, discontinued and or dropped. Youth Wrestling is booming because of responsible clubs like CAGWA.
The wrestling community is all in the know, because wrestling personified develops her great blessing and compassion. Wrestling instills her great life lessons where thousands of children from our barrios and ghettos across Amerika are instilled with important virtuous lessons such as perseverance, discipline and self reliance, which these kids will carry with them throughout their lives. In praise and celebration for the sport of Wrestling we all love. CAGWA California Super Tournament 2 will showcase some of the most talented wrestlers in the Western United States today and leave us with a lifetime of lessons.
The Super Tourney will traditionally feature many of the most promising wrestling youth in the Western United States. Some of the previous participants in the past have gone to great national and international accomplishment, This year we will have an opportunity to see the promise of tomorrows future generation, The Aaron Cheeks Pico, the Cade Olivas, The Valenzuela Brothers and many more youth repping their teams called Kistlers Dungeon, Team ThunderKIDZ , Monster Garage, POWAY ELITE, Selma and Bakersfield Drillers etc.
There are only a few places where one can experience the most competitive wrestling matches of our day and age. The Toughest Youth Wrestlers will answer the call of who will be named the next CAGWA Gladiators Super Champion. The Super Tournament also serves as the exclusive Host of the individual’s team trials in determining the true representatives for Team California. Only the top wrestler in their own respective weight class will be selected to represent the State of California team in advancing to the National Middle School Championship Duals taking place at the David Palmer Arena in Danville ,Illinois on March 26-27th 2010.

Who is CAGWA? CAGWA is the largest K-8th grade Wrestling Association in the state of California. CAGWA stands for California Age Group Wrestling Association an organization which has been funded by wrestlers for wrestlers. CAGWA is a grassroots wrestling organization whose mission and intent to is to give back to the community by introducing the sport of wrestling and wrestlers as true ambassadors of good will.
CAGWA likes to see itself as the future of wrestling in developing wrestlers who will become the next California state champions by providing elite level tournament competitions. Like metal to metal sharpening the blade, CAGWA is the alchemist which prides it self in hosting 13 Tournaments in counties across the southern California area including Los Angeles, Inland Empire, Ventura County, San Bernardino County, and Orange County.
CAGWA California Super Tournament will have the most exclusive Trophy, Events and Awards and hosted by Special Guests and Personalities. Producer Henry Priest is a Hollywood Film Producer who has just produced and released ON THE MAT a film about the trying times of a High School Wrestler.
When Eddie Ruiz was asked as to why do the Parents and their youthful wrestlers find CAGWA and the California Super Tournament so favorable and so popular? What’s next for Eddie Ruiz?
CAGWA California Super Tournament 3 will donate much of its profits and proceeds to the charitable funding of the CSUF Wrestling Program. Eddie takes pride in knowledge that CAGWA youth program is the organization which is saving Division 1 collegiate level programs.
CAGWA is a state and federal registered 501c3 supported by an elite board which was personally introduced by the CEO Chairman Eddie Ruiz, “First said Eddie “ is the President Anthony Nunez who shares in the responsibilities of being the CEO, Jose Garcia is the 2nd Vice President, followed by Greg Oroczco who is the 1st vice President, Mirabelle Sevilla is our faithful Treasurer, and my lovely wife Tina Ruiz is the secretary and head paire.”
