A couple quick notes. Tune into ESPN 1300 tomorrow between 9am and 11am. Guests include Joshua Clottey as he prepares for his fight next week against Manny Pacquiao and “Sugar” Shane Mosley as he gears up for Floyd. The two biggest this year to date. Here the “opponents” on why they’re going to pull out the upsets.

Also, tickets are on sale for Friday April 2nd, as Ballroom Boxing returns to Michael’s Eighth Avenue. Cecil McCalla (11-0) will fight a very tough Marcos Primera (20-20). A guy who has fought damn near everybody and alsways comes to fight. Carnie “Beeper” Bowman (14-0) of York Pa. faces Jason Rorie (5-6). Rorie lost a close decision in Jan. to Thomas Snow. A fight that most believed Rorie won.

In a heavyweight rematch that resulted in a draw… Venroy July (3-0-1) will meet Fred McClinton (2-1-1). Also scheduled in Glen Burnie’s own Lenwood Dozier (5-1-1) in his toughest test to date against Devaris Crayton (8-6-2).
