Female boxing star Keisher “Fire” Mcleod-Wells steps back into the ring on July 28th at New York’s BB Kings Blues Club & Grill in Times Square.
Mcleod-Wells returns to the location of her last bout where she dominated the undefeated Mexican fighter Laura Gomez on the 31st of March.
The July 28th show will be promoted by Lou Dibella’s Dibella Entertainment and will feature some of New York’s most promising up and coming fighters.
Mcleod Wells is a 2x Amateur World Champion and 4x NY Golden Glove winner who is currently 3-1 as a professional. She hopes that this bout will showcase her talents and attract more fans to female boxing.
A former model and actress, Keisher “Fire” Mcleod-Wells doesn’t fit the stereotype of a female boxer and is determined to prove that she can transform her amateur success into professional accomplishments.
Mcleod-Wells and her team have had a hard time trying to find suitable opponents in the US and have had to fight 3 of her 4 bouts against Latin American fighters, 2 of those bouts occurring in Panama.
Mcleod-Wells’ opponent for this bout is still to be determined but she is preparing for a tough bout whoever is in the other corner come fight night.
“Fire” as she is better known to her large array of fans is happy to be fighting in her hometown again and is looking forward to putting on a real show, July 28th at BB Kings.
