MMA Comes to the Entertainment Capital of the World

June 22, 2010, Hollywood, CALIFORNIA—Today JP Productions announced it has brought MMA to the entertainment capital of the world, Hollywood. Respect in the Cage combines the hottest Hollywood’s DJ’s with the excitement of the fastest growing sport in the world MMA, and on the heels of extraordinary success—the last three fights in Pomona, California have sold out. JP Productions has joined forces with Live Nation to bring Hollywood MMA to life. “What makes Respect in the Cage stand out to me is that you have the number one growing professional sport worldwide combined with red carpet nightlife. Not only do we have great fighting entertainment, we bring celebrity guests, A-list DJ’S, and Go-Go dancers that bring a Vegas vibe. Respect in the Cage: World War 1 is the first of three scheduled MMA events in Hollywood. It will take place at the Palladium on Saturday, July 24, 2010. Besides general admission and reserved seating, bottle service is also available. The event will be hosted by Sway from MTV; DJ Eric CuBeeChe will entertain the audience at the opening and between fights.

Respect in the Cage: World War 1 will feature international fighters representing their various countries. Fighters who have been confirmed so far are: Leah Meylnchuck-Canada, Marcus Kowal-Sweden, Koji Ijima-Japan, Hjimar Ocampo-Honduras, Jaime Walsh-United Kingdom, Gevork Chilaylan-Armenia, Christos Giagos-Greece, Bobby Green-USA, Christope Saunders-Canada, Romo Todorovich-Russia, Wachiim Spirtwolf–Native American, Eddie Mendez-Mexico, Joe Camacho-Mexico, and Steve Ramirez-Colombia. The line ups of the fighters will be announced shortly.
