SHMOUEL TO TAKE ON DIVICTORIA TO HIGHLIGHT A HUGE NIGHT OF BOXING ON DECEMBER 7TH AT THE LEGENDARY BLUE HORIZON
Over 10 bouts scheduled for the annual holiday show on Friday night December 7th
Philadelphia (November 26, 2007)?On Friday night, December 7th, Vernoca L. Michael and Blue Horizon Boxing Promotions will give boxing fans an early holiday treat as a huge night of boxing is planned for The Legendary Blue Horizon on North Broad Street.
December 7th also marks the annual Children?s Holiday Show. Patrons are encouraged to bring toys that will go to agencies that will disperse the toys to less-fortunate children for the holiday season.
Don Elbaum has put together twelve big bouts that will showcase a lot of rising stars on December 7th that will be headlined by Jr. Welterweights Elad ?Kosher Pitbull? Shmouel taking on Lenny ?Diablo? Divictoria in the eight round main event.
Shmouel, of Tel Aviv, Israel brings in a record of 18-1 with nine knockouts and will be making sixth appearance at The Legendary Blue Horizon. He is coming off a fourth round stoppage over Muchi Ziud on October 27th in Ra?anana, Isreal.
Divctoria of Philadelphia has a deceiving record of 9-10-2 with two knockouts. Divictoria?s takes on nothing but undefeated prospects and rising contender?s, so this figures to be the toughest night in the career of the 21 year-old Shmouel.
This will be Divctoria?s ninth appearance at The Legendary Blue Horizon.
One man who has a lot of history with Divictoria is Steve Upsher Chambers.
Chambers, who is 2-0 over Divictoria, will also see action on December 7th.
Chambers, 15-1-1 with four knockouts will take on a opponent to be named in a six round Jr. Welterweight match.
Chambers has fought every one of his pro fights at The Legendary Blue Horizon except one bout has been on a roll as he is currently riding an eleven fight winning streak. Chambers is coming off a six round unanimous decision over Jason Jordan on September 7th at The Legendary Blue Horizon.
The big boys of boxing will get it on as Grant Cudjoe will take on Cornelius Ellis in a six round heavyweight bout.
Cudjoe, 14-3 with nine knockouts of Brooklyn, New York is riding a six fight winning streak and is coming off six round majority decision over Jason Bergaman on October 19th.
Ellis, 10-14-1 with six knockouts has been in with a bevy of prospects and contenders and has given a good account of himself against that top level competition.
Ellis, of Wilson, North Carolina has a great deal of experience as he has been in the ring with heavyweight champions Samuel Peter and Oliver McCall as well as top prospects Eddie Chambers, Joey Abell and Travis Walker.
He gave the undefeated Chambers the toughest fight of his career as the bout was ruled a majority decision in a bout that some ringsiders thought could have gone either way.
A six round featherweight battle of undefeated fighters, Jules Blackwell (6-0, 2 KO?s) of Phoenixville, PA and Paul Fernandez (2-0-1, 2 KO?s) of Philadelphia.
Blackwell 26 years old has fought all of his fights at The Legendary Blue Horizon and is coming off a majority decision over Arthur Parker on October 12th.
Fernandez, 25 years old will be making his third Legendary Blue Horizon appearance is coming off a third round stoppage over Jonathan Occasio on September 7th.
Also on the card will be ladies sensation, Olivia ?The Great? Fonseca as she will take on Michelle Linden in a four round Jr. Middleweight bout.
Fonseca, 1-1-1, 1 KO of Philadelphia will be looking to rebound from a close decision loss to Kimberly Harris on October 12th at The Legendary Blue Horizon.
Linden, 6-4-1 of Pittsburgh is a power puncher as all six of her wins have come by knockout. In her last bout she battled Philadelphian Michelle Garland to a four round draw.
Blue Horizon favorite Gee Culmer (11-1, 3 KO?s) will take on Brooklyn?s Ariel Espinal (6-2-1, 2 KO?s) in a six round middleweight bout.
Other Big bouts that will round out this special holiday show include. Bobby Roane (8-0, 5 KO?s) taking on Demetrious Davis (17-14-4, 7 KO?s) in a six round Light Heavyweight bout. ; Naji Murray (2-0, 1 KO) vs. Kenneth Meeks (1-3, 1 KO) in a four round middleweight bout; Louis Castro (1-0, 1 KO) vs. Conrado Garcia in a four round Lightweight bout; Heavyweights Kamrah Pasley (0-0) vs. Shawn McClain (1-1, 1 KO) in a four round tussle; Gerald Smith (0-00 vs. Darryl Martin (1-0) in a four round Jr. Lightweight affair; Raymond Serrano (2-0, 1 KO) will take on a opponent yet to be named.
