ROB ZOMBIE’S HALLOWEEN UNRATED DIRECTOR’S CUT DVD TO SPONSOR
HDNet FIGHTS “RECKLESS ABANDON”
… AND THE FANS WIN!
Saturday, December 15, American Airlines Center, Dallas, TX

DALLAS, TEXAS (December 3) —Mark Cuban’s HDNet FIGHTS has inked a presenting sponsor deal with Rob Zombie’s HALLOWEEN UNRATED DIRECTOR’S CUT DVD for the upcoming “RECKLESS ABANDON,” scheduled for Saturday, December 15 at American Airlines Center in Dallas. The ten-bout mixed-martial-arts event will feature two of the sports top middleweights, Frank Trigg and Jason “Mayhem” Miller, in separate co-main event fights.

Each fan attending the event will receive Rob Zombie’s HALLOWEEN UNRATED DIRECTOR’S CUT DVD, which will also be available in stores starting December 18 from Dimension Films and Genius Products.

For HDNet FIGHTS CEO, Andrew Simon, the match-up with HALLOWEEN was a natural fit. “A lot of our fight fans are fans of the movie as well,” Simon pointed out. “For our customers to be able to come to the fights and also receive a movie, valued at the suggested retail price of $29.95, that’s just an added bonus.”

Rob Zombie’s HALLOWEEN UNRATED DIRECTOR’S CUT is a terrifying re-imagination of the original slasher film HALLOWEEN, and is written, produced, and directed by Rob Zombie (The Devil’s Rejects, House of 1,000 Corpses). The two-disc special edition includes an unrated director’s cut with footage too terrifying for theaters and hours of extras, including an alternate ending, deleted scenes, bloopers, casting sessions and commentary by Rob Zombie.

“What better way to reward our fans than to let them in on this special DVD event,” said Mark Cuban, president and co-founder of HDNet. “Not only will fans see some great fights – they’ll also score a great movie!

The first 200 fans attending the Cageside Club pre-fight dinner will also receive a special copy of the DVD autographed by Rob Zombie. Cageside Club attendees will also be treated to a visit by HALLOWEEN star Tyler Mane, who plays the character of Michael Myers in the movie.

Tickets for “RECKLESS ABANDON” are priced at $25, $50, $100 and $300 (Cageside Club). Cageside Club seating includes: Seating in first 4 rows, Platinum Parking, Pre-Fight Dinner/Meet & Greet, Complimentary T-Shirt and program. Tickets are on sale at the American Airlines Center Box Office and all Ticketmaster Outlets, including www.ticketmaster.com and by phone at 214-373-8000.

In an inter-promotional battle that experts are predicting will be a candidate for “Fight of the Year” – IFL standout Tim Kennedy (8-1) steps into the cage to fight HDNet Fights superstar, Jason “Mayhem” Miller (19-5). The two fought as part of an Extreme Challenge eight-man middleweight tournament in February of 2003. Kennedy won a unanimous decision en route to winning the tournament. Mayhem seeks redemption and will undoubtedly fight with reckless abandon!

Trigg (15-6), a top 10 middleweight in all the latest rankings, will be taking on Edwin Dewees (43-10) in a 3-round clash of top middleweights.

Also slated for action on the card will be one of the world’s top lightweights, Yves Edwards (29-13-1, Houston). Edwards will be taking on Alonzo Martinez (20-8). Pete Spratt returns after delivering a devastating KO in October and Texas favorites Chris Bowles and Jason House will head up a strong card that makes up “RECKLESS ABANDON.”
