Medina and Han – Showcase ‘El Paso Superfight 2’
Fri Sep 24 10:00PM ET

Zeferino Entertainment is set to return to El Paso, Texas on September 24, that will be streamed on www.gofightlive.tv on September 25th, when the popular Mexican American brawler David ‘Strictly Business’ Medina (21-2, 10 KO’s) take on the rugged brawler Anthony Shuler (20-7-1, 14 KO’s) in an eight round affair. Medina, who is now ranked #17 by the WBC, is looking poised to explode into the top ten by the end of the year, but anything less than a dominant performance against Shuler would almost certainly derail that. ‘David is at a point where every fight is going to be under the microscope’, commented promoter Zef Ramirez, ‘he knows that a win over Shuler puts him in a position to maintain his world ranking, but a dominant win allows him to advance.’ Although Medina looked impressive in out boxing Miguel Hernandez back in October of last year in El Paso, many feel that Shuler will bring out the brawler in Medina.

Rounding off the card is local ‘HOT’ prospect Abraham Han (10-0, 9 KO’s) in an eight rounder against Hilario Lopez.

Han has moved to the front of the pack to establish himself as the hottest prospect in the Southwest, and is eager to show off in front of his local fans.

Also on the card is Abel Perry (12-4, 4 KO’s) looking to bounce back after his heartbreaking loss to Jonathan Gonzalez back in July with a six rounder against a TBA. Perry (who was slightly ahead on the judge’s scorecards against the undefeated Gonzalez) was stopped in the sixth and final round of the fight.

Rounding out the bill will be undefeated Lightweight Cesar Valenzuela (4-0, 1 KO) of Ciudad, Mexico taking on twenty fight veteran Lorenzo Estrada as well as Oscar Valenzuela (1-0) taking on debuting Joaquin Abilla in a Jr. Welterweight bout.
